Hot Weather Shipping
Nothing is better than chocolate during the hot summer months, but chocolate is a perishable product and does not hold up well in delivery unless you take precautions.
If temperatures are above 70 degrees where chocolate is being shipped to, we will use insulated cartons with reusable ice packs to protect your order. There is an additional cost per cooler of $8.95 - $15.00 (depending on the size of the order) added to your billing total.We will try to contact you prior to shipping to advise that we are going to use a cooler with reuseable ice packs for your order to insure that it arrives in perfect condition.
Please note that ChocoNet , does not accept responsibility for damage that may occur to perishable products during transit nor are we able to ship chocolate items, during the summer months, UNLESS the item will be in transit for two (2) days or less and is packaged in an insulated carton with ice packs.
If possible, try to arrange to have your chocolate delivered to an air-conditioned location, such as a business, where someone is able to receive your package. Often, UPS will leave packages on your porch if no one is home which is risky in high temperature areas.
Perishable orders can only be shipped Monday - Thursday (East Coast) and Monday - Wednesday (West Coast) with the exception of Overnight Orders.
We do not ship chocolates on Friday during warm weather months because they will sit on trucks over the weekend.

Returns
Whether your order is placed via the Internet or phone, please read our return policy before you place your order.
No returns on custom chocolate orders.
Due to health regulations, we are not allowed to accept any chocolate merchandise where original packaging in not fully intact.
In the event of a return, please contact customer service first, for a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and shipping instructions.

All returned merchandise must be clearly marked with shipper's name and original invoice number and Return Authorization Form. Click here to download the form.

By returning said merchandise, I acknowledge that ChocoNet, Inc., reserves the right to charge a twenty (20) percent restocking fee and that I am liable for the cost of shipping in both directions.
ChocoNet, Inc., reserves the right to refuse credit for any chocolate product that is returned in a condition where it is not suitable for resale.
Cancellation or Changes
All cancellations and/or changes must be confirmed in writing. Work started or completed prior to cancellation and/or change will incur a 20% charge and will be billed at prevailing rates.
ChocoNet will not accept responsibility for errors on verbal cancellations or modifications.
Refusal of Shipment
If you made a legitimate order from ChocoNet and changed your mind and refuse the package, we will not issue a refund under any circumstances. You will be charged to have your product reshipped back to you.
If you do not supply a correct shipping address, you will be charged the full amount for a shipping adjustment or your package will be on hold awaiting further instructions from you, but we will not refund your merchandise.
Contesting a Credit Card Charge
If you contest a charge and we have proof of delivery, you will be charged $25.00.
If you make a chargeback because you did not know what your charge was, we will bill you for the bank chargeback fee of $25.00. This will go to collections if you choose not to pay this.
Please check with us before you make a charge back for any reason.
